Cancellation & refunds
A fair policy.
No unpleasant surprises.
Before work starts, you can cancel for a full refund. Once it starts, you only pay for completed, delivered milestones—not work we haven’t finished.
Your plan comes first
CartBloom is a one-time, scoped service—not a subscription. You receive the scope, deliverables, timeline, fee, milestone checklist, and these terms before paying. Submitting your store or receiving a fit decision does not create a payment obligation.
This policy applies to new engagements that incorporate it in their written plan. Existing agreements are not changed retroactively.
Before work starts: a full refund
If you cancel before we begin the agreed service work, we refund the full amount you paid. We do not deduct a booking, cancellation, or payment-processing fee.
We send a written start notice and obtain your authorization before beginning. The free fit review, proposal, invoice, or request for access does not by itself count as starting paid work.
After work starts: pay only for completed milestones
For the $1,000 USD engagement, the fee is allocated as follows. These amounts are used to calculate cancellation refunds; they are not additional charges.
| Milestone | What must be delivered | Allocation |
|---|---|---|
| Evidence review & plan | The evidence findings and prioritized implementation plan defined in your scope. | $250 |
| Draft implementation | The agreed changes in a reviewable draft theme, meeting the milestone checklist. | $500 |
| Final QA & handoff | The agreed QA record, change documentation, measurement plan, and handoff materials. | $250 |
A milestone is only chargeable when its agreed deliverables have been completed and shared with you before your cancellation request. We do not keep the fee for an unfinished milestone, charge for time alone, or treat silence as acceptance of deficient work.
For example: if the evidence review and plan are complete and delivered, but the draft implementation is unfinished, you receive $750 back. If no milestone has been completed and delivered, you receive the full $1,000 back.
A differently scoped engagement must specify its milestone allocations in the written plan before payment. Allocations cannot be changed after your cancellation request.
If the work doesn’t match the scope
Tell us which agreed deliverable is missing or materially defective. We will review it against the written checklist and either correct it at no extra cost within 10 business days, agree a reasonable correction schedule with you, or refund the affected milestone.
We include a 30-day correction window after handoff for issues caused by our delivered work. This does not cover new features, later third-party changes, or unrelated theme problems. It does not limit any longer rights or remedies the law gives you.
If we cannot deliver the core service and the completed work is not reasonably usable on its own, we refund the full service fee. A refund is not conditional on removing a review or giving up a legal right.
Results are measured, not guaranteed
We commit to the agreed work—not a promised increase in revenue, conversion rate, profit, or a winning test. An inconclusive or negative result alone is not a reason to refund properly completed work. That does not excuse missing deliverables, unsupported claims, or defects covered by this policy.
How to cancel
Email support@cartbloom.ai with your store URL and a clear request to cancel. You do not need to schedule a call or provide a reason. We acknowledge the request within two business days and stop further chargeable work when the request is received.
We send an itemized record of completed milestones and the refund calculation within five business days. Undisputed refunds are initiated to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving your request. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the credit.
If the original payment method cannot receive a refund, we work with you and the payment provider on a secure alternative. Never send bank or card details through the public support form.
Pauses, access, and cancellations by CartBloom
You can revoke store access at any time. If we are waiting for essential information, access, or approval for 10 business days, we may pause work and explain what we need. After a written reminder and at least five more business days without a response, we may close the engagement and refund undelivered milestones. Unused fees do not automatically expire or become nonrefundable.
If CartBloom cancels, we refund undelivered milestones under the same rules. Work and usable deliverables you have paid for are handed over. We coordinate any necessary rollback before access is removed where possible; a cancellation is not permission for new live-store changes.
No surprise charges; your rights remain
We do not deduct our ordinary payment-processing costs or impose a cancellation penalty. Third-party apps or services you purchase directly are governed by their providers’ terms; we do not purchase them for you without written authorization.
If you disagree with a calculation, tell us and we will review the deliverables with you. A dispute does not delay an undisputed refund amount. This policy does not restrict payment-provider disputes, statutory cancellation rights, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory local requirements take priority.
Business days mean Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays at the business location stated in your written plan. If that location has not been stated, holidays do not extend the response and refund periods above.
